USY is USCJ’s youth group for Conservative Jewish teens across North America. For more than 60 years, USY has taught young Jews the values and skills they need to become exceptional leaders in their religious and secular communities. USY empowers youth to develop friendships, leadership skills, a sense of belonging to the Jewish People, and a commitment to inspired Jewish living through meaningful and fun experiences rooted in Conservative Judaism’s approach to learning, spiritual expression, and social responsibility. Through year round programming and domestic and international travel opportunities, USY inspires in teens a deep sense of pride in and love for their Jewish identity. No USYer should be excluded due to finances!
We understand that the cost of conventions can sometimes be difficult to afford, especially for multiple children. Most synagogues offer money to their teens for USY events. Did you know that ECRUSY also has a scholarship fund for regional events? Just download this form and turn it in with your registration. Scholarship forms are due by the first registration deadline.
Looking to get more involved on the Regional level next year? Download the Elections Application & Handbook – this is the packet that outlines all the submission dates, roles and responsibilities. Here’s the online form for all candidates to fill out before April 29, 2019.
