IC Philly was amazing! We kicked things off with a visit to New York highlighted by the Empire State Building, Time Square and an amazing performance by stomp! After we hit the road to Philadelphia, PA and met up with METNY for a great Shabbaton. After making tons of new friends we head off to the downtown Mariott to start IC with 900 other USYers! After a week of friends, non-stop fun, learning and great food, 13 sleep-deprived ECRUSYers left IC after an extraordinary week in the city of brotherly love.

ECRUSY Board at International Fall Boards Weekend

This past weekend the Regional Executive Board of ECRUSY met with over 100 other USY leaders from across North America for the International Fall Boards Weekend in Newark, NJ. Each officer had the opportunity to learn from their international counterparts and gain important leadership skills to help them throughout the year to come. The board undoubtedly has come home from the weekend with a list full of great ideas for this year. Ever wonder where all your Tikkun Olam money goes? Noa Zaifman, ECRUSY SA/TO VP, and Jonah Eisen, ECRUSY President, sat for 15 and a half hours in the annual Tikkun Olam allocations meeting to figure this out! Together with other regional presidents, SA/TO VPs and the SA/TO IGB, Noa and Jonah helped allocate $67 000 to over 70 organizations around the world!
